Centrophenoxine is classified as a cholinergic and one of the better studied Nootropics that has undergone clinical testing for over 50 years.
It was developed in France in 1959 by scientists at the French National Scientific Research Center and originally created for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of cognitive decline caused by aging.
In healthy individuals it can have mild stimulant effects and act as an anti-depressant.

Dosage
Anecdotal reports state that for healthy adults a dosage of 500-1000mg per day is considered save and effective.

Side-Effects
Although Centrophenoxine is considered well tolerated it can cause mild side-effects such as headache, nausea, distressed stomach or restlessness. These side-effects mostly show up when dosage is higher than your body tolerates. Reducing dosage eliminates side-effects in most cases.
