Oxiracetam was developed in the 1970's and a synthetic derivative of Piracetam being 5 times more potent. 

Anecdotal reports state that Oxiracetam has stimulating effects similar to Phenylpiracetam but milder and smoother without the side-effect of restlessness.

Clinical studies suggest that Oxiracetam can benefit the recovery of memory loss in Alzheimer's patients and patients with other neurological conditions.

Dosage

Most commonly people take 800-1200mg of Oxiracetam per day, split into 400mg across morning, midday and night. When taken for the first time, dosage should be the lowest possible effective dosage.

Pramiracetam - for enhancing cognitive improvement

Aniracetam - for elevating mood

Side-Effects

Although Oxiracetam is well tolerated, certain side-effects may occur. Headache is the most common side-effect mostly experienced in conjunction with high dosages. When taken late at night, sleep routine can be disturbed.
