Picamilon is a derivative of the synthetic combination of niacin and GABA and is able to cross the blood-brain-barrier (BBB). Once it passes the BBB, Picamilon is hydrolyzed into GABA and niacin.
GABA is an important neurotransmitter in the central nervous system that is responsible for cutting down neuronal excitability throughout the nervous system and niacin is a form of vitamin B3. Both compounds play an important role in the human body and are found in various foods. Niacin is found in low concentrations in fish, chicken, turkey, beef, mushrooms, brown rice, peanuts, green peas, and avocados for example.
Picamilon has a range of effects under which count improving memory, concentration, motivation, attention span, and general productivity.
Contrary to other Nootropic agents, Picamilon has a relaxing, tranquilizing and calming effect that can contribute the reduction in stress and anxiety.
Many users take Picamilon to improve their sleeping pattern and to improve mood and mindset.
